This morning I took at test at the Testing Center. After reviewing my notes this morning, I arrived at the Testing Center at 9:30, half an hour before it opened. I was amazed to find the halls already lined with people waiting to take their test at 10:00 too! On a Saturday! By the time it was 11:00 the entire testing center (which seats, I don't know, 400 hundred people?) was full! I repeat: on a Saturday morning! It honestly didn't even feel like a weekend on campus today.
Three hours and three questions later I headed to the Tanner Building to visit my locker and who did I see there but Dave and Ben! Where's Bracken when you need him! It was all I could do to resist the urge to pop over and get a couple of Little Caesar's pizzas and start studying with the two of them, reliving those frequent Saturday morning study sessions during our Junior year. It was a treat to catch up with the two of them, topped off with a phone call with Bracken later in the afternoon. I'm so blessed with amazing friends.

Lauren! I love your blog! It's amazing! I just skimmed through some of your posts. I am so happy that you are in PCS, I loved reading your story about it.
ReplyDeleteWe have a blog, but I have only posted on it like twice - the day I made the blog. Haha! Maybe one day I'll really start using it... drennans.blogspot.com
So... you take a month off and have two comments on your post the next day. I write twice a week and have zero comments (except your) on my past ten posts. I vote that you have the most loyal readers of all. And I love you and am glad that you blogged for me. :)

ReplyDeleteSuch good memories! These are the times I wish I were still there at BYU with you guys - and then I remember that that all happened on a Saturday morning and it makes me a little more content that I'm at Utah State. At least I can still come down for the occasional BYU football game and have lunch with you!
ReplyDeleteYay and i sat two desks away from you in that crowded testing center! what are the odds??
ReplyDeleteThis brings tears to my eyes - how fortunate your are to have loyal friends. Surround yourself with those you can trust and you will never want for valuable counsel. Dad
