Friday Flashback

BYU's graduation was yesterday and today (both school-wide and college-wide ceremonies). Although I just completed my fourth year of higher education, I did not graduate because I am continuing on to obtain my Master's Degree in Accounting (MAcc). The MAcc program at BYU is an integrated program, which means I will receive both my Master and my Bachelor Degrees at the end of five years (only 24 credits away!).

This means, however, that many of my friends from high school and from my time throughout BYU graduated this year. Congratulations to all of you! It was so exciting to be in the Marriott Center and watch everyone march in. There were over 1,600 graduating students this year!

Somehow, after commencement, in the masses of people, I ran into Cami and her sweet husband Bret, who both graduated as well. I hadn't even called her to try to find her, thinking it would be nearly impossible, and yet we coincidentally ran into each other! I thought it might be fun to commemorate this exciting event in her life with a flashback to yesteryear and the last graduation ceremony she and I shared together. Here we are now:

And here we are four years ago at our high school graduation (6 June 2006) at the E Center:
